Fall Back

Uncategorized October 31st, 2005

For all our friends & family not in Indiana—you moved your clocks back an hour this weekend (unless you live in AZ).  We did not.  Just a reminder, we are back on Eastern Time again, not Central.  BUT…this is the LAST time we will not join in you the clock dance!

My First Time

Uncategorized October 31st, 2005

I can’t believe I actually did it.  I don’t recall ever doing it before.  Sure, my sister and I pretended to do it in highschool, but I can honestly say that I never actually did it for real.

Or A Trick

Uncategorized October 30th, 2005

What GREAT fun.  We can update the whole world on EVERYTHING that we are doing and NO ONE can tell us to stop.  We are now making our mark on this vast world know as the world wide web.

And I am attempting to make my mark(not in the dog and fire hydrant sense of the word) on my one and only son in the world of hollowean.  Step inside, do you dare, do you dare?

Welcome to the Miles blog

We’re very excited to be followers, like so many people we already know, in joining the "bloging world". The main goal of this is a quick, easy way to update our families and friends on what’s going on here.  Please, at this point, do not expect great philosophical debates or deep thoughts, or even daily updates.  (Maybe, some day, we’ll reach that point!) Right now, it’s a chance for us to share with you what we’re doing, without filling up your email box. (Is that a good thing?)

A Treat

Uncategorized October 29th, 2005

This Halloween, our Small Group decided to go to a local nursing home with our kids, and let the kids GIVE treats to the residents. I was a bit nervous how Will would handle this. He doesn’t have too many opportunities to share at this point!

I chose to make cookies and have him pass those out. He likes cookies, and I knew it would be a real test to have him pass that out (rather then candy he can’t eat because of  it makes him sick).
