4 Miles

I’ve been trying to post some pictures, but have been having problems. For those who love the pictures, they’ll be up eventually–I hope.

I gave my mom a hard time last night for praying away our snow. She DID NOT want to miss school tomorrow or today. They’ve made up all their snow make up days, so if they miss another day, they have to make it up Good Friady, and she really wants to use that weekend to go visit my sister (and she doesn’t think they’ll drive down to St. Louis unless they can have all three days).  She said she was going to pray we didn’t get much. It worked, our totals were lower then expected, and they got very little!

Today I’ve gotten to watch a cold decend on Will. It started with the runny nose, then later in the morning his eyes were watering. By lunch time, his nose was stuffy.  I had him go down for an early nap and he was asleep within 15 minutes.  We’ll see how he’s doing when he wakes up. We’ve really been blessed with good health (only a few colds) this winter, I’m praying that will continue.

The Colts have gotten Adam Vinatieri as a kicker! I heard this on the news last night, and I thought “Cool” but it didn’t really hit me until I went to bed a few minutes later.  While this is not as big of a deal as the Cowboys taking T.O. (He’s the one who “disrespected them” by dancing across the helmet & star at center field a few years ago, and now he’s on the team!!!), it is still a big deal.  I had heard rumors that Vinatieri was looking at some teams, but didn’t realize the Colts were one of them. I guess we now know why the Edge was allowed to go to AZ!
