Where did the time go?!?

Today we saw our first "crawl".  Alex was up on his hands & knees, and scooted forward. (Not a belly scoot, he was up in "crawling position"!) He also has started to roll around in the living room to get to the toy he desires.  He has been moving around in his bed like this for awhile (I put him in bed in one place and he rolls and scoots around every which way) but that has not been happening on the floor…until today.  Is anyone ever ready for this? We sure are not!

Today (Friday) is Cow Appreciation Day. If you wear a cow costume to any Chick-fil-A in the nation today, you can get a free combo meal. I really meant to tell you this morning, so you'd have time to get your costume together, but the day got away from me. I am very sorry.  BUT, if you happen to have a cow costume (the article in our paper said you must show up "Fully Dressed as a cow"–that makes me think not just wearing a black T-shirt with white spots), you can still go this evening!  Or, you can hug a cow to show your appreciation.
