We had Halloween last night. Oh wait, you did too?  Hmmm, we're not as wild and crazy as I thought! ;-)

We went over to one of James' partner's house for pizza and then went Trick or Treating in their neighborhood.  The debate all day was (for me)…Will Alex be well enough to go? Turns out health had no sway in it, he DID NOT want to go into his costume (lots of screaming and pulling). Considering it was pretty cold out, we thought it best if he just stayed with me. So he and our hosts 1 1/2 year old daughter Samantha had lots of fun crawling around the house while the Moms chatted & passed out candy. (Ironiclly, if Alex had been a girl, we have had the name Samantha picked out for 5 years and he would have been named that.  Now that it's becoming more popular, we may have to change our 'potential girl name'.)  Will went out with James & they came back with a large bag of candy. It was fun this year, Will understood more of what was going on.  He still hung back from the older kids, but he had a fun time. We did not get ANY pictures of him going out though. So, if you want to see pictures of our lions, you'll have to scroll down to the Halloween party. They looked the same….Will still cowardly and Alex still fussy.  Except I didn't get a chance to put whiskers on Will this time. 

On to a totally different subject, there is a big movement in the "bloglands" to declare November "National Blog Posting Month", or NaBloPoMo. (This is an alternative to NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, where you crank out a novel in 30 days. Many bloggers are writers who use blogging as a way to keep in practice. I am neither a writer, nor use this as practice, so there will be no novel writing here–whew!. But another non-novel writer wanted to be challanged so she came up with this.)  I've been debating for a week or so if I should join. I was going to use last week as practice, and I didn't do so well.  But, I've wanted to update more regularly, so I've decided I'm going to jump in!  Nothing like deciding the day of!  So, I'm joining NaBloPoMo.  Just becuase I like to try to say that outloud.
