Movie

We recently added the movie Cars to our DVD collection (meaning we now have 6 DVDs). This is a movie we would have taken Will to see in theaters, if we thought he could have sat still that long and not been bugged by how loud it is there.

I was trying to remember what movies I saw in theaters. We didn't do it much, we didn't have a lot of money so it was a big deal. I think I remember seeing The Fox and The Hound or Bambi. I know we saw Annie. I think I saw ET.  And I remember one time in Florida (so I was between 4-8) we were getting our apartment bug bombed, so we went out and saw a movie and had Krispy Kream Doughnuts. But I don't remember the movie.

How about you? Were there any movies you saw as a child that stood out to you? Do you remember the FIRST moive you saw?

  1. Lady and the Tramp. And I cried, I guess when Tramp was kicked out, so my folks thot maybe it wasn’t as good an idea as they had thot.
I took Betty to see a movie when she was little and I was a big college student. She remembers which movie, but i don’t.

  2. My first movie was Snow White. And I think my second was Annie. Two words: BRAT PATROL!

  3. Ahh, Brat Patrol! Not the first, by far, but so much fun to watch! Sean Austin when he was young & geeky. It was a shock to see him in The Lord of The Rings series, seeing him OLD!

  4. Herbie the Love Bug.
