Alex took his first step today. He took a step and then fell over. Still, we are revising our predictions of walking by Christmas to walking by Thanksgiving.

Another first last night wasn't as fun. It was our first time he was crying "Ma, ma, MA!" in his crib. It was while he was up for a 2-2 1/2 hour stretch. It kept everyone up, even Will. Will was up at his normal time (7), but fell asleep on the couch twice during the morning. Later in the day, James needed to go to Lowes and said Will could go with him. Will said "When we get back, can I take a nap?" Yes, that was a first for Will!
