Alex is up to 5 words–Mama, Dada, Hi, No, and Ki-ti. And, it might be 6,  I THINK he's trying to get "Will" out. It comes out "Wuh" (and sounds alot like "buh"). The only reason I think it might be Will was when Will woke up from his nap this afternoon, Alex got very excited and started to say that as I pointed out "Look! Will's awake!" When I'd ask him "How do you say Will?" I'd hear that again.

This afternoon Alex was on crawling around, pushing a car and saying "Bbbbpppppssss" with the car his Uncle Karl gave him. It's a stuffed, talking car from the movie "Cars". So just now, when Alex threw it, the car said "Owe!"  Then he was walking on his knees, pushing another car.  He certainly has that concept down.

One other mildly funny thing that happened today (that I'm recording in his "baby book"). I was getting up to go mop the floor when Alex walked over to me. I told him "Go to Daddy, Alex" and he actually did! He turned right around and went over to James in the chair.  So why can't he do this when we tell him to not touch the TV/VCR/DVD player or the cat?

Alex has moved up in size (18 month–he's into Toddler clothes, not baby cloths, Sob!) and once again is in a size we have no winter clothes from Will to pass down. Thankfully, my SIL loaned us a HUGE amount. Also thankfully, after this we have all seasons in the next sizes. Yesterday's big project was to move out the old clothes, then organize and put in the new clothes. And do lots of laundry (so much for doing it on the trip so I wouldn't have as much to do).  The boys are now close enough in size you can't tell the difference in their jeans by just glancing.  (Well, 18 month and 4T SHOULD be obvious, but it's harder then when it was 6 month and 4T…though James did try to put Will in 12 mo. sized jeans one day.)

Sadly, right at the point Alex wants to play with Will more, Will DOES NOT .  Fairly typical, I know.  Still, sad to see. Especially when it's Will dragging Alex out of the bedroom so he can be left alone.  I know, it's going to be worse when Alex is big enough to get back at him. (What? It's not going to be brotherly love, happy rainbows and sweet puppies all the time?!? Why didn't anyone tell me?!?)
