Better is Relative

Thursday I gave the boys carrots with their lunch (usually we have fruit). I told Will he needed to eat the carrots, they help his eyes to see better. He ate for a minute and then said "Mommy, I don't see any better." I told him it took a bit of time. Five minutes later, he yelled out "THE CARROTS ARE WORKING! I can see SO much better!"
The next morning he came into our (dark) room and snuggled in bed with me. Then he said "Mommy, those carrots didn't work, I can't see any better!"
