Brown stained carpet: Gone! The stains don't show up too well in the picture, but trust me, it's really gross. And sad because the carpet was new when we moved in two years ago. But carpet in your only eating area with a toddler/preschooler and a new-born/toddler = MESS.

Current: Old, gray tile  (Picture #3 is a close up of the gray tile, the kitchen tile and the orange linoleum under the kitchen tile.)

Next: Cover this with new tile, along with the kitchen and bathroom!
