Need some gift ideas for Birthdays or Christmas? We would love anything you’d give us…but if you have no idea where to start, here are a few: (updated Fall 2010)
Tina
-
There are book and CD ideas on my Amazon Wish List that I didn’t feel like relisting here and keep updating.
-
Gift card for some clothing items post baby (Target is easy for me to get to)
-
Chocolate brown or black picture frames–8×10 or 11×14.
-
I always love candles, since I feel bad getting them for myself–Pumpkin, Kitchen Spice, Apple Spice/Apple Pie are ones I love in winter.
- Fleece pullover–size XL
- Air-Pop Popcorn Popper
- Bubble Bath Gel
- Decorative pillows for our couch that will tie together the blue chair and olive green curtains.
James (Still working on updating this, yeah, he’s hard to buy for)
- Garmin Forerunner 305 – Might take up running again.
- iTunes gift card.
- Mr. Beer Refills
- A better cordless drill b/c the current one is not strong enough–or new batteries for the current one (Black & Decker I think)
Will
- Matchbox/Hot Wheel activity sets or roads/ramps that crash into each other (anything car related like that).
- Lego sets–He loves the Lego City sets
- PJs–long sleeved, long pants, size 8
- Fleece pullover, size 8
Either boy would love some Matchbox sized NASCAR cars.
They love games–we have Sorry, Candy Land, Ticket to Ride and lots of card games in our collection.
Alex
- 5T or Small cotton pjs w/ long pants (must be cotton for itchy skin)
- Fleece pull-over or sweaters in 5T or XS Old Navy size
- Lego sets–he loves them and does well with them, he loves the fire truck sets.
- T-ball stand/bat/ball (He has a sudden love for baseball)
- A kid golf set (probably not plastic, we’ve heard they break pretty quickly)
- Craft supplies, especially paint
Marcus
- He’s right between 12 month (new fits, older stuff is all shrunk and too small) and 18 months, and could use pants, long sleeved T-shirts, our 18 month bin is rather sparse but has several sweaters and warmer things, but he could use some basics.
- Right now he likes to chew on paper, cords and silver wear from the dishwasher.
I’d say if you see a cute toy that is for 12+ months you could grab that but he may enjoy the box more. He’s starting to be interested in balls & cars and loves to push buttons on the older boys fire trucks. - Ok, LOVES balls and baths. Our baby bath toy selections are pretty sparse so that would be a needed idea.
